Jordy Allard
Founder
Jordy’s journey started on at Westwinds Farm in Woodstock, Vermont. As a kid he grew up playing baseball in the country side where he had aspirations of playing college baseball. Jordy and his grandfather, Hank Smith, worked together to create his dream of playing college baseball. Jordy was able to excel during his youth baseball and middle school baseball career, learning about life and work through baseball. As Jordy continued towards his goal of playing college baseball he was named 2017 Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year. Following graduation Jordy enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University, after playing one season , that ended at the Division II World Series, he played baseball for a year before deciding he wanted to pursue other schools that fit him better.
Transferring to Babson College, he was able to make an immediate impact and enjoy another World Series, this time at Division III. During Jordy’s time at Babson he began giving lessons to youth baseball players, ensuring the focus was on becoming a better person to become a better player. At the end of his three year stint at Babson, Jordy was named New England Pitcher of the Year, as well as a First-Team All American.
Once he graduated he use his two years of remaining eligibility at Northeastern University to play baseball and acquire his Masters Degree. At NU Jordy was able to be named Division I First-Team All New England and earn a spot in the Cape Cod baseball League for the summer of 2022. During the summer with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks he was named John C. Claffey CCBL New England Player of the Year and named to the 2022 Cape Cod All League Team.
As Jordy finished his playing career, he began to think of ways to share the information he learned over his 20 plus year playing career. Primal Baseball incorporates everything he learned and continues to learn along his way.

Elias Fhagen-Smith, CSCS
Head of Performance Training
Elias is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, with his journey into Sports Performance training began at Babson College where he was trying out for the Babson College baseball team. While that never worked out, he became a significantly better player and always looked back and wondered what would have happened if he had trained so diligently in high school. Realizing his baseball career was over, he turned his attention to becoming a coach so he could bring that training to athletes looking to improve their performance.
During the remainder of college, he had the opportunity to complete internships and work at three amazing facilities. Athletic Performance Training focused on the training of hockey players and Cressey Sports Performance exposed him to elite baseball performance training. Finally, during his last two years of college, Elias had the opportunity to work as a coach in the Babson College Athletics weight room. The experience exposed him to a variety of different sports and taught him how to integrate training with practice and game schedules. It also gave him a front row seat to the best pitching season in Babson college baseball history. Some of his favorite memories from college were watching athletes get on the field or court after long offseasons of training.
As a coach he loves being part of athletes' journeys as they navigate their athletic careers, as well as life. Elias’ goal is to bring smart effective training to anyone he have the privilege of working with.
