    Our Coaches

  • At Primal Baseball, we understand the today's youth and high school sports landscape. It is a tricky one to navigate. That's why we have developed a dynamic programming process. If your child is playing another sport, or on another team/travel organization, we integrate your lifestyle into the programming we create. We can change the programming weekly. Communicating with the player and the parents on practices, other commitments and games. Our goal is to give our athletes the best chance to succeed in whatever endeavors they choose. This means being adjustable and adaptable to their needs and interests. Our business is designed to change on a dime for our players. Giving them flexibility and allowing them to enjoy all aspects of life, while thriving on and off the field.

  • We cannot guarantee anyone’s performance. Nobody in this world can guarantee their players will improve. Even professional players have bad years and bad performances.

What we can do is guarantee that we will provide you and your child with the proper process to improve. We will create and give them the resources to execute how they desire to.

Performance will be up to them and the work they do with the information and guidance we give. As much as parents want their kids to succeed, they cannot play for them, the kid is the one performing. What we can do to ensure the best chance of success for them is nurture, give resources, and cultivate an environment of success around them allowing them to become a product of their environment.

  • Success is never linear. Depending on the individual, the timeline of performance and growth can vary. Most kids will see improvement within the first four weeks. Consistency, effort, and discipline also play a role in when your child will begin to see results. It would be unfair and a lie for us to tell you when they will get better because a lot of performance is up to them. We are here to give the resources and guide them to that performance.

  • Absolutely. At Primal Baseball, we believe parents are an unbelievable resource and should be the child’s main way of learning. We want to work with the parents, we want to be a resource for them to come to. We want to be a guide for those who may be in uncharted waters. We understand not every parent knows everything about baseball, however, we know they are all trying to connect with their children and do what’s best for their future.

Throughout our playing and coaching careers, we have found that baseball adds a magical way to connect and learn life lessons as well. At Primal Baseball, we want to help players learn life lessons by using baseball as a route to connect and teach without forcing it on them.

We have found that when kids/players are passionate about the game, it is easier for them to understand the lesson. They can take the lessons they learn in the game and use them in real-life experiences.

  • At Primal Baseball we believe all of our programs are not only designed for baseball but for life as well. Nutrition, Mental Performance and, Strength and Conditioning are all concepts we can use to train for life. Our question back would be, is your kid too young to train for life? Parents are constantly doing an amazing job at training and preparing their children for life. We see ourselves as using baseball to integrate life lessons.

Mental Performance will take them far in baseball, but also in life. Nutrition sets a foundation for health and fitness which is essential in baseball and life.

If the player is interested in programs we will write for any age, we would never force a program on someone who wasn’t interested or excited about it.

Players in Middle School and up may have more benefits from Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, and, Mental Performance programs because they are able to understand a deeper, however, this ranges from player to player. Our programs can be as in-depth as needed, for kids ready to take their performance to the next level. They can also be simplified to give a strong foundation for younger kids still learning.
